Working at Hartmann Juris

We are a small firm with a large volume of small files. That calls for people who enjoy making a procedure a hundred times better rather than winning once.

Open positions

We have no open vacancies at present. That changes regularly. A speculative application is always welcome and stays on file for six months.

Who fits here

  • Consumer law specialists. Books 6 and 7 of the Dutch Civil Code are daily work here. Anyone who knows the difference between article 6:230r and article 7:21 by heart starts ahead.
  • Case handlers. Assessing matters, requesting evidence, tracking deadlines and escalating when one passes.
  • Multilingual correspondents. German, French, Polish or Spanish at professional level. A demand in the counterparty's own language is answered more often.

How it works here

We handle a great many files that are each individually small. That means the gain is not in one brilliant pleading but in a procedure good enough to run a thousand times. People who work here would rather improve the template than the single letter.

We never act against consumers. That is not a slogan but a hard limit on what we accept, and for most people who apply here it is the reason they apply.

Speculative applications

Send a short motivation and a CV to dossier@hartmannjuris.com, with "speculative application" in the subject line. Include a case: a dispute between a consumer and a retailer that you experienced or read about, with the legal basis you would advance. That tells us more than a list of employers.

We respond within ten business days. Personal data from applications is kept in accordance with our privacy statement (in Dutch).

Not an application but a case?

Then submit it. We confirm within one business day whether there is a legal basis. It costs you nothing.
