We work in writing. That is not distance, it is building a file: what is said on a phone call, nobody can prove afterwards.
| Situation | Where | Response time |
|---|---|---|
| I want to submit a case | Submit a case | 1 business day |
| I have an open file | Case portal | immediate access |
| I received a letter from you | Received a letter | 2 business days |
| I have a complaint about the firm | Complaints procedure | per the procedure |
| Other questions | dossier@hartmannjuris.com | 2 business days |
Our general address is dossier@hartmannjuris.com. For an open matter, always quote the file number in the subject line so the message reaches the right file directly.
The postal address and full company details are set out in article 1 of our terms and conditions (in Dutch). Registered items from a counterparty are accepted at that address.
In a dispute about money, only what can be proved counts in the end. An assurance on the phone is not that. We therefore conduct correspondence in writing, so the client can see at any moment what has been said on their behalf and the counterparty cannot have second thoughts afterwards.
If you are a business that has received a demand from us, first read what that letter means. Respond in writing, quoting the file number from the letter. A response with a substantiated defence is taken seriously and put to our client.
Journalists' enquiries go to the same address, with "press" in the subject line. We make no statements about individual files, not even anonymised.
The intake form asks for exactly what we need in order to assess. That saves a round trip.
